AEW Collision draws record-low viewership for regular time slot

Saturday night’s AEW Collision episode averaged 289,000 viewers on TNT, down 34.6 percent from the previous week. It’s the lowest audience total the show has ever done in its regular time slot. The only lower numbers were for a November 2023 episode that aired on a Friday and an August 2024 one that aired in the afternoon.
Collision finished 19th for the day on the cable charts with a 0.10 rating in the 18-49 demo, down 23.1 percent from last week. It’s the lowest rating the show has done in that category since August 3 — and it ties Collision’s fourth-lowest rating of 2024.
The show took place during Labor Day weekend and went head-to-head with the first full week of the college football season. It also came on the same day as a WWE PLE (that aired in the afternoon), which has traditionally had a negative effect on Collision viewership.
As compared to the same week in 2023, Collision’s overall audience was down 16.2 percent while its 18-49 rating was down 9.1 percent. That’s the best the 18-49 number has held up year-over-year to date.
Listed below are the last 11 weeks of overall viewership totals and 18-49 demo ratings for Collision, along with the 10-week average in both categories. This week’s show was down 23.5 percent in overall viewers and down 16.7 percent in 18-49 as compared to the recent averages.
