AEW announces new dates: Hammerstein debut, Revolution 2025 in Los Angeles

AEW has announced a new slate of event dates — including the promotion’s Hammerstein Ballroom debut.

The Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City will host three straight days of action from Friday, December 20 through Sunday, December 22. The first night, ROH Final Battle will be held at the venue. Collision then takes place that Saturday with a special Dynamite taping to follow on Sunday.

The Collision and Dynamite episodes are likely to be Christmas themed with AEW filing trademarks for “Christmas Collision” and “Dynamite on 34th Street” this week. The Hammerstein Ballroom is located on 34th Street in NYC.

Dating back to when ECW ran shows there, the Hammerstein Ballroom has been a popular destination for pro wrestling. It’s hosted ROH events in the past, but this will be the first time the promotion has had a show there in the Tony Khan era.

Tickets for all three Hammerstein shows are going on sale next Monday (November 25).

The date and location for AEW Revolution 2025 was also revealed among the new dates. The pay-per-view will be held at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles on Sunday, March 9 — marking the first time AEW has ever run the former Staples Center. AEW has been using The Forum in Inglewood for its major events in the Los Angeles area. Crypto.com Arena is the home of the NBA’s Los Angeles Lakers.

A special Fight for the Fallen episode of Dynamite will take place on New Year’s Day 2025, serving as the launch of Dynamite and Collision streaming live on Max in addition to their regular TV channels. That Dynamite episode will benefit victims of Hurricane Helene, which severely impacted the Asheville area this September.

The full list of new dates can be seen below. With the show believed to be ending soon, there is no mention of Rampage tapings on the AEW website event schedule past December 18.
