AEW off-air notes: Cody post-show speech, Dark spoilers

Here are spoilers for next week’s episode of AEW Dark, which were taped during tonight’s AEW Dynamite taping in Atlanta, Georgia:

Jimmy Havoc defeated Marko Stunt

– This match was taped prior to Dynamite.

After the television portion of the taping concluded, Cody cut a short promo talking about his father and told a story about Dusty and Sting. AEW posted footage of the speech that you can listen to below:

Following the promo, the final three matches of the tapings were held:

Joey Janela defeated Kip Sabian in a Falls Count Anywhere match

The Dark Order (Evil Uno and Stu Grayson) defeated CIMA and T-Hawk

Dustin Rhodes and QT Marshall (with Brandi Rhodes) defeated Peter Avalon and Shawn Spears (with Leva Bates and Tully Blanchard)

Dynamite next week will take place at the Silverstein Eye Centers Arena in Independence, Missouri. Already announced is a 30 minute iron man match between PAC and Kenny Omega. The Butcher and the Blade will also take on Best Friends in a tag team match.

Another segment will take place on the show, featuring a weigh-in between Jon Moxley and Chris Jericho ahead of their title match at Revolution on February 29.
