Adam Copeland’s first promo announced for AEW Dynamite Anniversary


Adam Copeland, formerly known as Edge, will deliver his debut AEW promo on this week’s Dynamite Anniversary.
Copeland’s segment was officially announced for the Wednesday, October 4 Dynamite show during the post-WrestleDream media scrum.
After making his surprise debut in the closing segment of Sunday’s WrestleDream pay-per-view, Copeland was the first talent to speak at the scrum, where both the promo segment and the date and opponent for Copeland’s first AEW match were revealed.
Copeland will make his in-ring debut for the company on the Tuesday, October 10 Title Tuesday edition of Dynamite against Luchasaurus.
Additionally, Copeland was announced as appearing on the Saturday, October 7 AEW Collision episode, with both Copeland and Tony Khan noting at the scrum that Copeland is expected to be a weekly presence in AEW.
Copeland debuted at WrestleDream in saving Sting & Darby Allin from an attack by Luchasaurus, Nick Wayne, and Copeland’s former tag team partner Christian Cage after Cage defeated Allin in the pay-per-view main event to retain the TNT Championship.
