Adam Copeland vs. Daniel Garcia added to AEW Dynamite
New matches and segments have been announced for Wednesday’s Dynamite.
Adam Copeland will meet Daniel Garcia to determine the next challenger for Christian Cage’s TNT Championship. After Copeland told Tony Schiavone he was eyeing getting the TNT title back, Garcia came out. He reminded Copeland that it was him that pinned the Patriarchy on last week’s Collision, and wanted his own shot at the title. The two shook hands, but Copeland told Garcia that he was now taking food off his table, and he didn’t like it.
Willow Nightingale will also go one on one with Skye Blue. Nightingale mentioned in a promo on Saturday that they used to be friends, and they’ve never fought before. Both were misted by Julia Hart, but only one, Blue, ultimately joined forces with her.
Appearances by Hangman Page, Samoa Joe, and Swerve Strickland were also advertised for Wednesday, ahead of their World Championship match at Revolution on March 3. The world premiere of Toni Storm’s latest film, ‘Wet Ink’, will also take place.
