Adam Cole vs. Jake Atlas set for Friday’s AEW Rampage

Adam Cole vs. Jake Atlas, as well as two other matches, has been announced for Friday’s Rampage.

Atlas will face Cole, Ruby Soho and Riho will face Britt Baker and Jamie Hayter, and Hook will take on Aaron Solo. In a promo tonight on Dynamite, Cole brought up that Atlas had signed with AEW and told Atlas that he would “send him back to Orlando”. Atlas made his debut on AEW television on this week’s Dark, defeating Serpentico. It was announced shortly after the match aired that Atlas had signed with AEW.

After losing the TBS Championship tournament finals to Jade Cargill, Ruby Soho was about to do a promo when Britt Baker, Jamie Hayter, and Rebel showed up. Baker told Soho she couldn’t get the job done again. Soho mentioned Baker has never beaten Riho, who Baker will face at Battle of the Belts this weekend. The two ended up in a brawl.

QT Marshall and Aaron Solo on Dynamite cut promos on Hook, with Solo daring Hook to stretch him.

Already announced for Rampage is a six-man tag team match, with Daniel Garcia and 2.0 facing Eddie Kingston, Santana, and Ortiz in a no DQ, no rules, no holds barred match.
