AAA Mixed Tag Team title match, Bryan Danielson promo set for AEW Rampage
The AAA Mixed Tag Team titles will be on the line for the first time ever on AEW TV as part of Friday’s Rampage.
Champions and newlyweds Sammy Guevara & Tay Conti will defend for the first time ever against new rivals Dante Martin & Skye Blue. Guevara & Conti won the titles in a four-way at AAA Triplemania XXX: Monterrey in April.
Bryan Danielson will also speak live in front of the fans for the first time since losing to Daniel Garcia several weeks ago in his return match on Dynamite. The two will rematch next Wednesday in a two-out-of-three falls match.
An unusual tag team will form as Bearhausen (Danhausen & the returning Erick Redbeard) will take on Gunn Club. This was made on Wednesday as Billy Gunn wants to fire his sons up after they lost to The Acclaimed in last week’s dumpster match.
The Trustbusters’ Parker Boudreaux will make his in-ring debut on AEW TV as he takes on Sonny Kiss while group leader Ari Daivari will face Orange Cassidy following a backstage conflict Wednesday.
Other promos include new FTW Champion Hook and AEW Tag Team Champions Keith Lee & Swerve Strickland.
